Newsletters: 1978 - 1990

Since Clan Ross - Canada (founded in 1960) is one of the oldest organized clan groups, its Newsletter is relatively old, having started in 1978. Moira Ross, Commissioner of Cape Breton was the first editor, until about 1980, when Margaret Montgomery took over and produced it faithfully for about 9 years. In the Fall of 1990, Clan Ross-Canada donated 25 issues (1978-1990) to the Library at the University of Guelph, Ontario. This library is one of the best in the world for Scottish Studies material, and the university continues to have an active programme in the History Department.
