HOLYROOD PARK

If you wore your Gathering Passport around your neck, you were allowed to leave the grounds for a meal at a pub/restaurant or return to the residence and use a microwave in the residence. However, there was a huge Scottish produce market (#28 on the map) where one could buy bread, rolls, fruit, meat pies, cheeses, beverages, etc. On Sunday, we decided to visit the Clan Hospitality Tent/Chieftain Tent where we had poached salmon, fresh salad and tasty soup. Elsewhere, there were long line-ups for bacon sandwiches and beverages, if you wanted to wait in the sun.
