MOUNT HERMON CEMETERY FUNERAL

The members of the Québec Garrison of the historical 78th Fraser Highlanders regiment and their friends paid homage to the men, women and Scottish institutions who contributed to the urban development of this area of Québec following its foundation 400 years ago. The ceremony was held at the park-cemetery Mount Hermon de Sillery, on Saturday June 7. The demonstration took the shape of a procession to the sound of the bagpipes along the paths of the splendid park cemetery of Sillery.

A very particular homage was paid to David Alexander Ross (1819-1897) business man and deputy of this region of Québec who, together with Wilfred Laurier, was among the founders of L'Électeur newspaper.
